Super Bowl or Trap!

Watch Out for others while at any event! You could save someone’s life.

Today is the day for the Super Bowl. Some may say its the biggest football event in the country. People have their teams pick to win. If your team is not in the game; then you either don’t care who wins or just watch it for the commercials. Fans start early in the morning tailgating and get into the groove for the day. This year it’s against the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. Mahomes vs Garoppolo. The talk of the commentary is usually a veteran team against a young team; but this year it’s two young teams. At the half, it is tied 10-10 but anything can happen.

But not only is it the Super Bowl but it is commonly known as the single largest human trafficking incident in the United States. Be on the look out for strange and out of people. They go to the game just to traffick and steal people; mostly children. IF you see anything suspicious, call the authorities and stand up. February is the human trafficking awareness month and the 13th is the day to wear a read x on your hard for awareness day. I am a advocate for the End It Movement. It’s an organization to help spread/raise awareness to end modern day slavery. If you are thinking that you wan’t to be apart of this movement; it’s really simple. This movement is not only in the United States but it is a global movement. It happens anywhere. Ill give you the five steps to take part in the End It Movement.

  1. Find the next year’s date and put it on your calendar to remind you beforehand. This year is on February 13th.
  2. On the day of, draw a red “X” on your hand (don’t tell anyone, but pink works too)
  3. Take a selfie
  4. Post it with the tags #EndItMovement and #EndIt. (Donate money too!)
  5. Ask people to join you doing the same, or you can even prep a team of friends in advance

I’m saying to enjoy your team play but also just be prepared and aware. What if it was your daughter, sister, cousin, friend, brother, or son. Would you fight for someone that you don’t know like you would fight for your family. What would the world be like if we ended modern-day slavery? Have you thought about it… take a moment. I’ll wait.

Listen to the song by LZ7 and Matt Redman called “27 million” on YouTube. It is filmed and performed live in the former Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Really listen to the words of the song; if it doesn’t capture your heart I don’t know what to tell you.

If you want more answers to your questions; i will be happy to answer them.

Like, share, comment! I’ll answer any questions that you may have.

All the love,

Cheyenne
