Confidence is beautiful!

I’m so glad you’re here.

Hey! My name is Cheyenne. I’m from a small town in Southern Illinois. (If you don’t know where that is located; let me help you out. The one place people think you are from when you say Illinois; is Chicago right? Well, my home is on the opposite end of the state.) I know that a majority of people will say, “Oh you live in Illinois with what the governor is doing or why don’t you move to another state and get out while you can.” Even though I don’t like the way the government in Illinois right now is going or said governor; but Southern Illinois is my home. My family and friends are here. I go to university in this state. Yes, I know crazy.

More about me is that I love to travel and experience new cultures. Road trips are the best; yeah to some they are boring but I find joy in them. You see the sights that you have or haven’t seen before. Brings peace and serenity to just take a drive. Try it out! Also, taking road trips with friends is excited and a must for memories.

I am a sports girl. I played softball when I was younger from peewee to major summer ball. I played football with some of my guy friends back home; I was kinda good. But I had pent up anger inside of me for years and I never knew football was a way for me to take my anger out on people. It was like my escape from the world; my painful and less expensive therapy. Football, softball, and photography are my ways of therapy. I love going to and watching football, basketball, baseball/softball, boxing, and WWE (entertainment side). I have friends that play hockey, soccer, and golf; I just don’t understand those sports. I love my friends; just not a fan of those sports. That doesn’t mean I won’t go a support and cheer for them. I am a big supporter and a fan of sports; even if I have to work those nights. I will be cheering and yelling out play from the sidelines or at home.

Yes, I will say it and I am not ashamed of this either. I am a Christian. My faith is very important to me because God has helped me through some tough times in my childhood and has made and is continually making me stronger from them. I still have some issues from that experience but I’m working through them. God has always been there for me; even when I didn’t realize it. At one point, I thought that He abandoned me but I wasn’t strong enough to open my eyes to see Him standing next to me and going through those battles with me. I have no trust in certain people but I know now that I have full trust in my King and Father. Everyone has baggage; no one is perfect. God knows my plan and has my life planned out; I just have to be patient (which is hard for me).

Just remember to be patient; God’s not done with your story yet. –Philippians 1:6 NIV

All the love,

Cheyenne
